Program Description:
A team of estate and financial planning professionals dedicated to advancing a client's needs and purposes will have different roles to play, and different rules to follow, in assisting any one client. Sometimes, the individual professionals in a team may have very different insights into what the client's needs and purposes truly are, and different professional codes and guidelines dictating best practice or appropriate practice.
Successful estate and gift planning professionals understand that their objective, and their role, in a client based interaction may require thinking and approaches that are different from, and at times at odds with, other professional positions.
How do you recognize your role? How do you understand another professional's role and perspective? How do you work with, through, and around, fundamental differences in client solutions and service needs across a team of advisors?
With a tip of the hat to the rare journalists and broadcasters skilled in bringing multiple points of view to the forefront of a chosen subject, Tom Dietrich as moderator will frame scenarios and questions designed to make our panelists think about their role, and how their advice changes as fact patterns evolve.
This presentation takes our name, the Round Table, to heart, as discussion and different points of view come to the surface.
