Program Description:

You’re feeling good about working with your donors because you’re confident that your organization abides by all of Arizona’s rules and regulations for charitable organizations.  But what about that donor who lives just across the border in Nevada?  Or your gift annuitant from California?  And that snowbird from New York?  It turns out a there’s a warren of State requirements governing charitable solicitations, gift annuities, whether or not your charity can serve as trustee or own a life insurance policy … and these rules might apply even if you never leave the Grand Canyon State.  In this session we will review State requirements and discuss how to keep your donor – and your organization – out of hot water.

Please note:  Members  who can not attend, now have the ability to send a substitute in their place at the member registration level.
