Become a Charted Advisor in Philanthropy

The Planned Giving Round Table will hold an orientation session for those interested in joining the GS 849 Course study group to help obtain  the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation.

(GS 839, GS 849, and GS 859 Courses are required to obtain the CAP(R) designation)

When:  January 20, 2015 at 10:45 am

Where:  Phoenix Country Club

Fee:  The study groups will be coordinated/facilitated at no cost to participants.  Tuition and material costs are charged through The America College for course participation and testing.

Requirement: 

Membership in the Planned Giving Round Table
(Participation in the study groups is a PGRTAZ member benefit)

Reviewing the following items prior to the orientation will help in your decision to join this venture, and possibly be ready to sign up for the courses at the end of the orientation!

  • Watch the Lecture  This presentation is an introduction to CAPĀ® and the format of the courses.

Target goals:

  • Get everyone committed and applications completed for submission to The American College by the close of the orientation on January 20th.
  • Confirm bi-weekly study group location/day/time.
  • Begin the GS 849 Course study groups early February.
